The European Platform of Women Scientists supports the work of a whole range of existing national, European and international networks of women scientists from all disciplines (natural, medical and social sciences, engineering and technology, the humanities and arts).

EUW has sections in the following countries - Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

The European Women’s Lobby promotes women’s rights and equality between women and men in the European Union.

To raise greater awareness amongst women about Europe and to bring home their expectations to European decision makers, the Robert Schuman Foundation, which is recognised for its contribution to society together with the association Femmes, Débat et Société with the support of the Representation of the European Commission in France are working together to implement an activity programme that is designed to bring women closer to Europe.

GenderNet is a network promoting the European dimension and co-operation in the collection of gender mainstreaming strategies, methods, materials and related projects. It\'s a transnational network of practise oriented expertise and a platform for vocational qualification and guidance organisations, counsellors and actors at national and transnational levels.

The Network has a minimum duration of three years, i.e. until November 2005. The GenderNet website will be maintained until end of 2007.

The IWA promotes friendship amongst women of all nationalities living in Romania and of introducing its foreign members to the life and culture of this country.

The Third International Congress on Islamic Feminism will focus on the problems of Muslim women in the globalization era, who are facing a double oppression: economic (neo-liberalism) and political (religious fundamentalism). We will analyze the response given by Islamic feminists regarding this situation, and their contribution towards the construction of a new worldwide civil society, based on a culture of human rights and universal values such as democracy, social justice, freedom of conscience and gender equality.
