What are you going to do?

• Your brother will get married and your family will offer the couple a special but unusual wedding trip. You heard they would like to visit one of the Baltic states, because they have a Latvian colleague and this colleague is very enthusiastic about the changes that took place in his home country. This colleague gave you a lot of internet sites to look at.·
• You want to plan this trip. Therefore you collect information in order to compose an informative booklet and program for your brother. Because you live in the north of Germany they can go either with a boat to Latvia or by plane from Hamburg. In Latvia they then do a 14 day tour in a rental car.

Read

Latvia joined the EU in 2004 along with 9 other countries. It is one of the smaller countries and will probably have not so much impact on the development of Europe. The country has different landscapes: one big city, smaller cities, a long coastline and a gulf (Gulf of Riga). The capital is a beautiful Hanseatic city which has been largely reconstructed in the last decade.

Presentation

• A good-looking brochure, describing the trip you and your parents offer your brother. Illustrate the brochure with the downloaded pictures. Design a front-cover with the Latvian flag. Try to include a map of Latvia in the brochure.·
• Make a separate budget calculation.
• Don’t try to put too much information on one page.
