Appeal - Bulgarian Orphanage Project

Bernadette Leggett, with her husband, have set up an organization to help the Silistra orphanage in Bulgaria.  She seeks advice from people about educational / adventure trips for the youngsters.
Every autumn she commissions a lorry to go from Peterborough UK, to Bulgaria carrying toys, foodstuffs, clothes, books, educational materials.
Current projects
Project 1 sends the children on an adventure holiday within Bulgaria. If you have any ideas on how you or your friends can help, please do get in touch.
Project 2 relates to the Baby Orphanage / Medical Centre (90 children). Plans have been agreed for a new building but there are no funds available for builders or materials. The Director has asked us if we can help.
She says: "Our biggest problem is transport costs. We are always in need of the following (preferably new or nearly new): shoes, boots & trainers; clothing in general: winter coats; new underwear; toiletries; toys; towels; linen; items to put in shoeboxes. If items could be delivered to us in Peterborough, that would help considerably."
