1956 | Foundation Congress in Paris |
1958 | First statutory Congress, Turin. The congress sanctions a period of broadening. development and constitution of new sections. |
1961 | Luxembourg. The Congress shows on the members' level a period of : |
1964 | Darmstadt. The Congress is devoted to : the analysis of experiences realized in Belgium, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, concerning an opening of teaching curricula and to Europe (European Studies in Great Britain). |
1968 | Brussels. The Congress achieves a EUROPEAN CHART OF EDUCATION. |
1971 | Paris. The Congress confirms certain works done by the sections about teaching actualization in a "definition of the different aspects of participation". |
1974 | San Remo. The theme is European politics of Education. |
1978 | Luxembourg. From experiences based on some analysis the Congress defined the principles to consider for an Introduction of a European dimension in the different degrees and subjects. |
1981 | Bad Tatzmannsdorf (Autriche). Placed under the theme "School without borders" it was devoted to an exchange between the different school systems in Europe. |
1985 | Montecatini (Italy). When a new broadening of the Community was in view, the different sections oriented their thoughts on the fundamental place and role of the school in the context of a European citizenship. |
1989 | Nimègue (Pays-Bas). "TO BE A EUROPEAN TEACHER". Our document "To be a European Teacher" is made to create the conditions allowing a balanced development of the "European Society". |
1992 | Athenes. "TO UNITE EUROPE THROUGH EDUCATION". Which perspectives for Europe ? Which pedagogics for a European School? |
