26.06.07 - Youth has featured on the EU agenda for many years and a consensus exists on the need to take action to help young people with education, employment and civic participation. This report, written by members of Bureau of European Policy Advisers (BEPA) of the European commission, suggests there is a need to create a new political momentum to stress the timely importance of investing in youth from childhood and further enhance the coherence between Community and Member States’ actions.
