The Robert Schuman Grants are attributed to doctorate or post-doctorate students who have a research project related to European issues and community policies. Non French students must be studying in a French establishment for Higher Education.

In cooperation with its member organisations, EFIL initiates and implements a number of pan-European projects every year. Their foci lay on various facets of Intercultural Learning: promotion, development of tools and materials, exchange of knowledge and experiences among the European members and between the European and world-wide AFS organisations.

The Seventh Framework Programme for research and technological development (FP7) is the European Union´s chief instrument for funding research over the period 2007 to 2013. CORDIS is the official portal for participating in FP7 and following related developments in European science and technology.

The study visits programme aims to encourage exchanges and discussion among those responsible for vocational training on subjects of common interest at the European level.

Study visits bring together small groups of policy-makers, professionals and social partner representatives and are hosted by countries taking part in the programme (EU Member States, acceding, candidate, and associated countries).
