Samedi 28 novembre 2009:
Il y avait des allucutions par M. Thomas Mann, député du Parlement Européen, de M. Hans-Peter Schick, maire de Weilburg, des exposés de M. Reiner Matar (Amt für Leherbildung, Giessen), de M. Frank Burgdörfer (Planspiele, jeux pédagogiques), du Dr. Marco Michel, Berlin (atelier interactif), Peter Wolf, Berlin (trouver les jeunes).
Partie statutaire: élections.

Lecture du message de président d'honneur Jürgen Kummetat.

We are writing to you and others in a selection of schools, associations and institutions which have an interest in bilingual European education, in the European dimension of inter-cultural dialogue, and in curriculum development for Europe in the future world. We very much hope you will wish to take part. The conference is intended also to help build UK and Europe-wide networks for those teaching in bilingual modes.
 
We hope to bring together a good balance of practitioners and researchers in a working conference, to address practical issues and developments.

Quarter Mediation is a European company based in The Netherlands. 

Quarter Mediation is working with individuals (students, teachers, people on labour market, decision makers in the field of education, VET specialists), as well as with institutions (schools, universities, small, medium and big enterprises, associations, nongovernmental organizations, authorities etc.), both at national and international level. 

Quarter Mediation organizes the course "Education for sustainable development" aimed at providing new methods to collect and select waste regarding the substances they are made of, and which can be transformed into raw materials on different fields. During the course, the participants getting aware of the European and national legislation and the community standards within managing home waste. The course will be organized in The Netherlands.

The course provides introduction to the applicable legal framework and methodology in a few related areas: environment, sustainable development, clean energy and waste management and is included in the European Commission catalog. The target audience:

  • Teachers (pre-school, primary, secondary, vocational, adult, special needs)

Persons eligible for EU Comenius and/or Grundtvig grants can apply at their National Agency for compensation of costs for travel, accommodation and course fees.
